Following similar success last year, Concordia’s two teams competed admirably in the 2025 Middle School Ethics Olympiad, a competitive, discussion-based event involving the collaborative analysis of real-world ethical dilemmas and the presentation of well-reasoned arguments.
The purpose of the competition is to grow students’ critical thinking, ethical literacy and civil discourse, with teams rewarded for displaying clarity, empathy and principled reasoning.
Both teams represented the College to a very high standard, with one team earning a gold medal and the other team earning a bronze medal. Our gold medal team has now qualified for the International Middle School Ethics Olympiad Final in February 2026 and prepares to compete against teams from Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, New Zealand, the USA and Canada. We commend both teams for their efforts and wish our gold medallists all the best as they prepare for the international competition.
