Ali Ahmadi

2003

Ali Ahmadi was about 15 when he abandoned his family and friends in 1999 during the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

Ali was understandably scared. With minimal English, no family and knowing no one in Australia.

Traveling on a rickety boat packed with 150 other refugees from Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran, the journey to Australia was harrowing.

The boat was eventually intercepted by the Australian Coast Guard. Ahmadi then spent eight months in Woomera detention centre.

After release from Woomera in 2000 Ali took English lessons then studied & qualified as a Master Health & Fitness Trainer, Master NLP practitioner and took up Natural Bodybuilding, winning Australian & Asia Pacific titles never imagining that his hard work would lead to a starring role as the backflipping Nomad on Channel 7's Gladiators in 2008.

Since 2005 Ali has been busy helping many others from parents to Executive leaders, from entrepreneurs to professional athletes become stronger physically & mentally so they can transform any crisis and challenge into opportunity & success.
