Playgroup is a warm, nurturing and play-rich environment where our youngest learners from six months to three years of age can explore, create and build early connections. It's also a space where parents, guardians and grandparents can meet, share and feel part of a welcoming community.

Opening in 2026, playgroups at our Highgate and Blackwood campuses offer children a chance to enjoy time both indoors and outdoors, with opportunities to discover, climb, imagine and play in fit-for-purpose Early Learning environments.

Led by our experienced educators and volunteers, the program encourages curiosity, social connection, early learning development and lots of joyful moments. Each session brings families together, offers space for friendships to grow, and helps children build confidence in a familiar and supportive setting.

Playgroup is a perfect way to connect with other families in a friendly and encouraging educational environment—a place where children feel safe to learn and where families feel welcome from the very beginning.

Sessions

Little EdVenturers (Blackwood)

  • Where: Concordia College St Peters Campus Early Learning Centre
    71 Cumming Street, Blackwood SA 5051
  • When: Running weekly, each Thursday, during term time
    (Starting on Thursday 30 April 2026 for Term 2)
  • Time: 9:30–10:30am
  • Cost: Free

Little Explorers (Highgate)

  • Where: Concordia College St John's Campus Early Learning Centre
    20 Highgate Street, Highgate SA 5063 (enter from Winchester Street)
  • When: Running weekly, each Friday, during term time
    (Starting in Term 2, Week 3—Friday 15 May 2026)
  • Time: 9:30–10:30am
  • Cost: Free

What to Bring

  • Hat and sunscreen (sunscreen is also available at the campus)
  • Water bottle
  • Your own packed snacks (optional; however, please note we are a nut-free centre)
