During his time at Concordia, Henry Smith developed a love of storytelling, spending countless hours in the Media Department making short films and stop-motion animations. Ever since, he has been passionate about bringing to life impacting and purpose-led stories.

In 2009 Henry began volunteering as a film mentor at Bus Stop Films, a not-for-profit which seeks to give people with disabilities and other marginalised community members the opportunity to learn about and be involved in professional filmmaking. He is also Managing

Director of award-winning Taste Creative, a Sydney-based company which has produced compelling campaigns for Woolworths, Australia Post, Rio Tinto, P&O and more.

In November 2018, Henry was awarded the Young Business Leader of the Year at the Optus My Business Awards.
