Jayne Hartwig is currently the Transition to Practice Nurse Education Facilitator at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide.

After graduating from her Bachelor of Nursing she commenced work as a Paediatric Nurse and completed her Graduate Certificate in Paediatrics.

Following various senior surgical clinical and management positions, she completed her Graduate Diploma in Education and became a Nurse Education Facilitator.

The Transition to Practice role has seen her present at many conferences both in Australia and overseas in New Zealand and Canada.

In 2012 she won the SA Health Premier’s Nursing and Midwifery Scholarship which allowed her to travel and work across Canada with transition expert Dr Judy Boychuk Duchscher. This work included her role as an international editor for a transition textbook.
