It was my great pleasure to host Concordia College’s International Women’s Day (IWD) Breakfast on Friday 11 March in The Suaviter. After welcoming remarks from Head of College, Paul Weinert, our Student Leaders, female leadership staff from ELC-12 and others enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast provided by the Concordia Café. We were lucky enough to watch the livestreamed IWD event, hosted by Sonya Feldhoff and featuring Senator Penny Wong interviewing 2021 Australian of the Year, Grace Tame. The message was clear: the fight for gender equality today will lead to a more sustainable tomorrow. Tickets purchased for the event raised funds for UN Women Australia, which offers support to the millions of disadvantaged women in the Asia-Pacific region.
