City of Unley Living Young Update

Please find below some messages from the City of Unley, which may be of interest to our students.

Study Relief Packs

From Monday 23 October, local students who present to Unley Library or Goodwood Library can pick up a free study relief pack. Our libraries provide a comfortable place to study and an opportunity to leave the house and have a change of scenery during a study period. The packs include a keep cup and some yummy snacks to keep brains and bodies fuelled.

What If? Writing Competition

We are inviting local creative writers to send in a piece which explores a ‘what if?’ scenario and takes us on a journey of the impact of a change, event or invention.

There are two categories:

  • Ages 12-14 years, up to 1000 words
  • Ages 15-18 years, up to 3000 words.

Entries can take the form of a short story, beginning of a longer story, or a screenplay.

Dymocks, Haigh's Chocolates and Big W vouchers to be won!

Entries close at COB on Friday 24 November 2023. For more information head to
