On Thursday 5 June, we were honoured to welcome Kaurna Elder Michael O'Brien and artist Damien Shen, a South Australian man of Ngarrindjeri (Aboriginal) and Chinese descent to the College. We formally acknowledged the extraordinary work Damien and his daughter Kalani (Year 8 student) have done in producing a portrait of Michael, who is such a respected cultural leader. The painting has been gifted to the College and now hangs in the main corridor in our Winchester Street 'Hub' building.
