With Mr Ben Crook moving into the role of Acting Middle School Leader for the remainder of 2026 at the end of Term 1 (as mentioned in last week's Principal's Perspective post), we are pleased to share that Mr Rowan Brown has been appointed as Acting Year 9 Leader. Rowan brings a calm, reliable and highly collaborative approach to leadership, underpinned by a strong commitment to student wellbeing and clear, consistent expectations. Central to Rowan’s work is an intentional focus on building trust with students, addressing issues promptly and fairly, and ensuring that young people feel supported while also being encouraged to take responsibility for their actions. Rowan places a high value on working in partnership with families and believes that open, respectful communication and a steady, relational approach lead to positive outcomes for students. 

We thank Rowan for stepping into this leadership role and look forward to the positive contribution he will make to the Year 9 community throughout 2026.
