Vocal Concert at Living Choice, Fullarton

On Wednesday 21 July, from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm, a group of our talented Year 11 vocalists performed an hour-long concert for the residents of Living Choice.

The performance was a wonderful opportunity for our students to share their love of music and the joy of singing with the residents. It also provided a valuable chance for them to gain further performance experience in a warm and appreciative environment.

The concert was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in attendance, with students and residents alike benefitting from the uplifting experience. Thank you to Mr St John and Cameron (Year 12) who accompanied students on the day.

A sincere thank you also to our vocalists—Max, Will, Nick, Yolanna, Portia and Rebecca—for their outstanding contributions and for representing the school so positively. Their enthusiasm, talent and commitment made the afternoon a memorable occasion for all.

Adelaide Eisteddfod Results

Congratulations to everyone who competed at the Adelaide Eisteddfod. We have had some great results, including:

• Kelly (Year 4) – second place in the 8–9 Years Cello and Double Bass section
• Henry (Year 6) – second place in the 11 years and under any brass instrument solo
• Rupert (Year 9) – second place in the Grade 5 AMEB flute section
• Leon (Year 10) – second place in the 13–16 any string session
• Sherry's (Year 12 ) String Quartet won the 18 years and under Chamber music section.
