In Week 1 of the mid-year holidays, one Senior team netball (Year 10–12) and one Middle team (Year 8–9) travelled to Melbourne to compete in the Waverley International Netball Championships.

A fantastic week of high-quality netball saw us playing against teams from Singapore, Malaysia, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Victoria. In the minor round, our Senior team won five from seven games, placing them in the top 12 for finals, while our Middle team finished 13th to move into the finals round.

A strong final day saw both teams win both of their finals games to consolidate their ranking:

• Seniors 9th from 34
• Middles 13th from 24.

The girls were wonderful ambassadors for the College, upholding the qualities of respect and care while playing a high standard of netball and growing in skill and team cohesion throughout the week.
