On the last Wednesday of Term 2, close to 80 Year 11 students participated in a Red Cross first aid course. The students demonstrated competency in both theory and practical components, and will now be able to manage emergency situations with greater confidence. Road safety awareness is also a key component of the Year 11 Pastoral Care programme, and the skills that the students learn in the first aid course serve as a useful complement to the road safety programme.
