Twilight Concert

On Monday 17 August, several of our intermediate ensembles, including Intermediate Concert Band and String Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Big Band 2, and Intermediate Flute Ensemble, hosted a Twilight Concert in the Chapel. The evening provided an opportunity for students to share with family and friends the repertoire they have been developing throughout the term. Congratulations to all students on their wonderful performances, and thank you to our staff for their support in making the event a success.

Lutheran Schools Choral Festival

The inaugural Lutheran Schools Choral Festival was hosted by Concordia College on Saturday 22 August. We were delighted to welcome vocal ensembles from Encounter Lutheran College, Endeavour College and Cornerstone College for a day of workshops and rehearsals, culminating in a fantastic public concert in the Chapel. The program featured both individual and combined performances, showcasing the talents of students from across our Lutheran school community.

A highlight of the event was the premiere of Under the Same Sky, a commissioned work written by Kathie Renner and generously sponsored by LLL for the festival.

A huge thank you to all staff involved in making the day such a success, particularly Emma Borgas, whose vision and dedication brought the festival to life. We also extend our sincere thanks to the parent volunteers who catered throughout the day, helping to keep our students energised and ready to perform.
