We were delighted to welcome our dads and special people into the ELC for our 'Date with Dads' event. It was a wonderful opportunity for children to share their learning environment with someone special and enjoy spending quality time together.

Throughout the session dads, special friends and children participated in a range of fun and engaging experiences. There was plenty of laughter, conversation, collaboration and connection as they explored, created and played alongside one another.

These shared experiences support children's social and emotional learning. Children had opportunities to communicate, cooperate, take turns, share ideas and build confidence as they engaged alongside their visitor. The presence of family members within the ELC also helps strengthen the important connection between home and the learning environment.

It was especially lovely to see the smiles on the children's faces as they spent this special time with their visitor and proudly invited them to join in the fun.

Thank you to all of the dads and special friends who joined us and helped make our 'Date with Dads' event such a memorable occasion. We loved sharing this special time with you!
