The Concordia Gala Ball 'What a Wonderful World' is coming up on Saturday 4 November. Tickets are currently available at the 'early bird' price of $150 per person, with full price tickets on sale from 1 July. Harmony in the Chapel
The second in our Harmony in the Chapel lunchtime concert series is coming up on Monday 7 August. Concordia Campus Music students will perform a range of wonderful tunes beginning at 1.15pm. Guests are invited to stay for afternoon tea in the Chapel foyer after the concert. Gold coin donation. All welcome!
Hollywood - Be a Star or a Fan!
Come and join in the fun as a star or a fan at our Hollywood-themed Quiz and Games Night on Saturday 26 August from 7pm in the Concordia Campus gym. This is the major fundraiser event for the St John's Campus in 2017 and we are looking forward to a fantastic night of food, fun, trivia, games and more! Friday 23 - St John's Campus Casual Day: A Funky Hair and Casual Clothes Day will be held at the St John's Campus on Friday 23 June. Funds raised will go towards Australian Lutheran World Service.
Saturday 24 - Year 10/11 Parent Dinner: Our Year 10/11 Parent Dinner on Saturday night will be a wonderful chance to catch up with other parents and to enjoy some delicious Indian food. If you have booked tickets to this event, we look forward to seeing you in The Suaviter at 7pm.
Friday 30 - Term 2 Ends: Term 2 comes to a close on Friday, 30 June. Concordia Campus students will be dismissed at 1pm, while St John's Campus students will be dismissed at 3.15pm.
Tuesday 4 - Year 1 Play Time at Lollipops Play Cafe: The year level coordinators invite Year 1 families to catch up for a holiday play time at Lollipops Play Cafe, 449 Port Road, Croydon at 10.30am. The cost is $8.50 per child and adults are free. Children should wear socks and recess/snacks can be brought for consumption in the 'party room'. Siblings welcome.

Tuesday 18 - Year 1 school holiday 'Movie Morning': The year level coordinators invite Year 1 families to a 'cheap Tuesday' 10am movie screening of Despicable Me 3 at Mitcham Cinemas, 119 Blair Road, Torrens Park. Group-discount ticket prices are $8.50 per child or $12 for adults. A kids candy deal is also available for $8. To receive the reduced rates, please RSVP and pay by Thursday 13 July. Friday 21 - Reception school holiday 'Movie Morning': The year level coordinators invite all Reception students and their families to a holiday 'Movie Morning' to see Disney's Cars 3 at 9.15am. RSVP online via Evite*.

Sunday 30 - Pedal Prix Round 2: The second six-hour race of the Concordia Racing Team season will take place on Sunday 30 July at Victoria Park Racecourse.

2017 Youth Workshop, 19-21 July at Flinders University
During the July holidays, highly able students in Years 8, 9 and 10 can participate in a university learning experience in the state-of-the-art facilities at Flinders University. Featuring a choice of subjects presented by University staff and world experts, these workshops are for students passionate about the arts, humanities and/or sciences. Concordia students have benefitted from participation in the past and we encourage attendance.
The variety of topics to choose from include Fundamental Figure Drawing, Gamelon, Animals, Forensics & Freshwater Ecology, Biomedical Engineering, Chess, Slacklining and Visioneering the Future, Creative Writing, Robot Wars and more.

Holiday Opening Times
During the holidays, The School Shop will be open on Monday 24 July from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. Normal opening hours for Term 3 will resume on Wednesday 26 July.
