Grandparents' and Special Friends' Morning

On Friday, 17 August, students in Years 4 to 6 will welcome their special guests to the St John's Campus for the annual Grandparents' and Special Friends' Morning from 9.30am - 12 noon.

Free Parent Seminar with Paul Dillon

Paul will conduct an informative, entertaining and empowering FREE session for parents of students from Years 8-12 entitled, “Teens, parties and alcohol: A practical guide to keeping them safe."

Parents are invited to join us on Monday, 20 August, in the Concordia Chapel. Refreshments will be served from 7pm with the seminar beginning at 7.30pm.

St John's Campus P&F Quiz Night

The annual St John's Campus P&F major event will be a Quiz Night & Disco, to be held on Saturday, 25 August from 7pm in the Concordia Campus gym. Come dressed in your favourite decade. Book online here.

Father's Day Breakfast

The Concordia Campus Father's Day Breakfast is always a popular event and will be held this year on Thursday, 30 August in The Suaviter from 7.15am - 8.30am. Fathers, grandfathers and their children are invited to join us and there are still some tickets available, so book online to secure your seat.

Father's Day Market Stall

A market stall will be held in the St John's Campus courtyard from 3pm on Thursday, 30 August. There will be a range of wonderful items on sale so come along and enjoy. You may also like to look for something special for Father's Day! All welcome.

St John's Campus Music Showcase

St John's Campus students will perform for parents, grandparents and friends at the annual Music Showcase on Thursday, 30 August from 7pm until 8pm in the Chapel. Entry is free. All welcome.

Year 7 Grandfriends' Day

Our Year 7 students will welcome their 'grandfriends' to the Concordia Campus on Friday, 7 September. Students will host their 'grandfriends' on a tour of the school and a visit to their classrooms. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet teachers and student leaders over morning tea. 

Request for Volunteers at Grandfriends' Day

We are looking for Year 7 parent volunteers to help prepare and serve morning tea on the day. If you can spare an hour or two between 9am and 11am, please contact Angela Warrick, Community Engagement Officer on 08 8272 0444 or by email awarrick@concordia.sa.edu.au

Concordia in Concert

Our annual Concordia Campus music showcase, Concordia in Concert, will take place on Friday, 14 September in the Chapel. This is always a fantastic night of music and tickets sell fast, so make sure you secure your seats as early as possible. Tickets go on sale online on Thursday, 30 August.

Growing Grace Kids

Growing Grace Kids is a new, exciting and innovative ministry for children in Kindy/ELC to Year 2. All children and parents welcome!

Our remaining dates for Growing Grace Kids this term are Friday, 24 August from 3.30pm-5pm and Friday, 21 September from 3.30pm-5pm in St John’s Lutheran Church Hall (15 Marlborough Street, Malvern).

Growing Grace Kids aims to provide children with an afternoon of fun craft activities, games, bible stories, a shared afternoon tea and a fun time to spend in fellowship together both for parents and their children, meeting approximately three times each school term.

The School Shop
Opening Hours – Term Time
  • Mondays: 8am – 4pm
  • Wednesdays: 12.30pm – 4pm
  • Thursdays: 12.30pm – 5.30pm  

The School Shop staff can be contacted on the direct telephone line during opening hours – 8291 9302. 

Second Hand Clothing

It may be timely to go through your summer uniforms and consider selling any unwanted items through The School Shop. We will be accepting second hand summer clothing throughout Term 3 in readiness for new student appointments occurring during October and November.

All uniform items must be laundered and pressed, and in a good condition. Blazers and winter skirts must be dry cleaned and summer hats cleaned. Any uniform items in need of repair eg. broken zips, seams unstitched, missing buttons and so on must be repaired prior to acceptance for sale. Buttons are sold in The School Shop.
