Statewide Knockout Hockey Champions

Congratulations to the members of Concordia's Open Mixed Knockout Hockey team who won their Grand Final last Wednesday 23 August to take out the statewide championship for the second year in a row. An incredible effort!

The team was led this year by James 12RSO and Will 12LNE, along with Year 12 students Tom 12RSO, Eleanor 12SBU and Jacqui 12SBU.

Thanks to old collegian Tom Mitton ('12) for coaching and to Ella Camporeale for supervising the team.

Concordia Clippers defeated Glen Osmond 14 - 7.

Soccer

Saturday 19 August 

Concordia U/10 soccer defeated Highgate 6 - 1.
Goal scorers were Fraser and Jonas who were in best form on the day. Well done also to Liam and Lucas H who worked extremely hard in the midfield.  

Saturday 26 August

Concordia U10 soccer defeated Flagstaff Hill 7 - 1.
Goal scorers were Lachlan HS, Lachlan B and Fraser. Sam nearly scored with the ball bouncing back from the goal post. Rosie sadly missed the last game due to a broken wrist and we wish her a speedy recovery. The U10 team had an exceptional season. Many thanks to our outstanding and committed coach Luke O'Connor ('15).

An awesome performance given we were three players down due to illness.
