Our Year 4-7 Sapsasa team braved the wild weather on Monday 4 September to compete in the Adelaide South East District Athletics day. It was a very competitive day with our students showing determination and excitement as they competed. There were many first, second and third placings along with personal best times and distances achieved.
Thank you to those athletes who willingly filled in for some of the events to ensure we stayed competitive in both track and field events throughout the day.
We finished 6th overall out of the 12 schools competing.
The day finished with the 4x100m relays and this highlighted the strength of the teamwork and school pride shown by our students.
Congratulations to the following students who gained first place and were therefore selected in the Adelaide South East District Team to compete on Metropolitan State Day on Tuesday 26 September.
