Having made the grand final after an exciting season of volleyball, Concordia’s Senior A team competed for the Independent Girls Schools Sports Association (IGSSA) Championship on Saturday 21 March. After somewhat of a slow start, which saw them trailing 4–7, the girls settled into the match and took the lead. Once they were in front of the opposition, they didn’t look back, winning the match in straight sets: 25–20 and 25–18. Congratulations to all involved in an outstanding summer season of volleyball and a wonderful final result—finishing as IGSSA Champions.
