While Concordia’s location in the inner southeastern suburbs of Adelaide may not immediately spring to mind as lending itself to the sport of team sailing, the College has built a vibrant sailing program based at Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club over a number of years.

In 2026, after two action-packed days of competition at Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club, with approximately 100 races completed by the schools involved, Concordia emerged as the top metropolitan school at the Metropolitan Schools Team Sailing Championship, winning 11 of our 15 races.

Our squad of eight sailors are congratulated on their outstanding efforts, and our senior students in particular are commended for showing great teamwork and a savvy understanding of how to sail strategically, turning the tides to their advantage. The team now looks forward to another strong showing at the state titles in April.
