St Peters Campus Students Make a Splash with 2026 Musical

25 June 2026

Adopted from one of the show's vibrant and catchy songs, "Just Keep Swimming" became the mantra for St Peters Campus students and staff in the lead up to their 2026 musical production of Disney and Pixar's Finding Nemo KIDS, as they prepared to bring this heartwarming tale to life.

With students from Reception to Year 6 performing on stage as tropical fish, turtles, sea birds and sharks, the musical was a captivating spectacle, bringing joy to audiences at all three shows. The talented cast transported audiences into an underwater world from the moment the show started, and the students did a marvellous job of capturing the heart and humour of the story.

With so many students involved, not only was the production highly engaging and entertaining, but the musical also provided countless opportunities for students to develop resilience, creativity, teamwork and self-confidence—skills and attributes that will continue to serve them well into the future.

Looking back on the production, St Peters Campus Principal Alison Ronoastro shared the following reflection on the unforgettable experience of bringing this show from the page to the stage,

"It was wonderful to witness students encouraging one another, overcoming challenges and embracing the message that with perseverance and friendship, anything is possible.

We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated staff, supportive families and wider community for helping make this production such a memorable occasion. Most importantly, we congratulate our students, who embodied the spirit of 'Just Keep Swimming' and created a production that will be remembered for years to come."
