The heartwarming tale of Shrek, Princess Fiona and their lovable friend Donkey was brought to life with enthusiasm, warmth and outstanding talent as well as a good dose of humour in our 2026 Middle and Senior School production of Shrek The Musical. Students took to the stage for four performances of this highly amusing and yet meaningful show, with the cast, pit band and crew demonstrating once again the strength of Concordia’s performing arts programs.
It was a delight to see students working together to rehearse, prepare sets and props, learn choreography and contribute to the overall presentation of the production over several months, whether in on-stage roles or behind the scenes, and we could not be prouder of all they achieved.
Concordia has a long history of excellence in musical productions, and Shrek The Musical was no exception. We look forward to hearing the announcement of our 2027 musical in the coming months. In the meantime, we congratulate all involved in this year’s musical—the performances were a testament to your hard work, collaboration, creativity and commitment, and audiences were grateful to have the opportunity to witness you lighting up the stage.
